Outings4Charity, INC was founded in 2010 by Aaron Scott to raise awareness about causes he felt were important.  In 2010, Outings4Charity focused on Autism Spectrum Disorders, holding many events throughout New England that raised funds in support. 

In 2011, Mr. Scott, with support from the Outings4Charity Board of Directors, switched focus for the future to two causes the organization has become passionate about.  Please read below and visit other pages on our site for more information. 

Our Organization

Outings4Charity has two distinct areas of operation:

Outings4Hunger receives food and grocery donations from food growers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. These donations can include fresh, nutritious produce, snacks, non-perishables, and other products needed for a well balanced diet.  Outings4Hunger distributes this food to hunger relief agencies throughout America. These agencies include: food banks, senior centers, soup kitchens, shelters, and other organizations that provide food assistance.  These organizations then distribute the food to the hungry children and families in their communities.  In addition, Outings4Hunger receives monetary donations from corporations large and small, as well as individual cash donations from the public.  Outings4Hunger turns these donations into much needed sustenance for needy families across America.  Outings4Hunger uses the funds to purchase food, then follows the process outlined above. 

Outings4Animals receives funds and supply donations which are in turn given to; a) Wildlife Refuges: funds are given to provide veterinary care, food, and preservation of natural habitats; b) Domesticated Pet No Kill Organizations: funds are given to provide veterinary care, food, shelter, and training so they can be adopted into loving homes.  Grants are given only to those that value life and do not euthanize otherwise healthy animals.  In addition, Outings4Animals locates local domestics pets in need of rescue and provides them with shelter, food, and care through the program.

Who we are

Outings4Charity, INC is a 501(c)(3) public charity located in East Windsor, CT.  We focus on two areas within our charity, Hunger and Animals (both in the wild and domestic).  Our fundraising dollars and food donations go to support organizations that distribute food to the hungry, and protect the complete well being of wild life and domestic animals.  We only support animal welfare organizations that value life and do not euthanize otherwise healthy animals.

 We have two very distinct missions:

Our mission is to feed hungry families through hunger relief agencies that include food banks, senior centers, soup kitchens, shelters, and other organizations.

Our mission is to preserve the health and habitat of natural wildlife, as well as the health and well being of domestic animals, particularly cats, dogs, and horses by providing veterinary care, food, shelter, and training (for domestic animals) so they may be adopted into loving homes.
